Police in Kentucky are seeking assistance in their search for an fugitive inmate.
In a bulletin shared on social media on Saturday morning, April 11, the Kentucky State Police (KSP) asked for the public’s help in locating the inmate, Angela S. Long.

Officers in Henderson, Ky., are searching for Long, 45, who escaped from a Dismas Charities re-entry facility in Owensboro, Ky., on Friday evening, April 10, according to the KSP.
Long was seen leaving the facility and getting into a black car. Police gave no further information concerning her escape.
Police identified the length as a white woman with “long straight brown hair and blue eyes.”
She stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds, according to the KSP. She was last seen in blue pants, a light blue T-shirt, and grey sneakers.
The KSP published a photo of the fugitive inmate laughing and wearing enormous, round spectacles, a graphic top, and her hair in a side part.
Long was serving a term for “various theft and substance abuse-related charges,” according to the KSP. She was convicted in November 2024 in Hart County for a felony committed in September 2023, according to jail records obtained by PEOPLE.
In the April 11 bulletin, the KSP requested anybody with information on Long’s location “to contact their local law enforcement agency or KSP Post 16 at 270-826-3312.”
Police also asked social media users to publish a bulletin detailing Long’s appearance and escape.
