29 people arrested in alleged drug distribution network in southern Indiana, Kentucky

Twenty-nine people were taken into custody in an alleged drug distribution network in southern Indiana.

The arrests followed a months-long “Operation Clocked Out” investigation by Indiana State Police into a methamphetamine, cocaine, hydrocodone, and alprazolam drug distribution network.

Jefferson County, Indiana, Prosecutor David Sutter stated that the inquiry began in February 2025. Authorities were informed that William “Flav” Taylor was “a major supplier” of methamphetamine in the county.

Taylor obtained meth and cocaine in Louisville and Cincinnati, Ohio, according to the inquiry. On February 4 of this year, he was arrested on a warrant for trafficking methamphetamine while returning to Jefferson County from Louisville.

Authorities stated he had cocaine on him when he was arrested, and he was charged with other offenses, with more to come. Taylor is being jailed with a $500,000 cash bond. During his arrest, a female passenger, Nichole Williams, was also detained on cocaine allegations.

Throughout the rest of the investigation, investigators were able to identify the people who were receiving drugs from Taylor. They were all arrested on Wednesday:

“This operation reflects the culmination of extensive investigative work led by the Indiana State Police, strengthened through close coordination with multiple law enforcement agencies, whose combined efforts work to hold offenders accountable and enhance public safety,” Sutter said in a news release Thursday.

The investigation was assisted by the City of Madison Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement, Kentucky State Police, and the United States Marshal’s Office.
