State police have identified the man killed in an crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Tuesday evening.
Yosef Loriner, 25, of Brooklyn, was identified as the victim who died in a crash on Interstate 476 near the Wyoming Valley exit.
According to police, Loriner’s car collided with a tractor-trailer that was briefly parked off the shoulder of the route while driving northbound on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Jenkins Township.
Loriner was driving at a fast pace prior to the incident, and the vehicle caught fire following the contact, according to authorities.
According to PSP, the truck driver attempted to save Loriner but was unable to do so since the car was on fire.
Loriner was pronounced deceased at the scene.
