The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office said that a man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for robbing two men he befriended at Reno casinos on separate occasions.
Leshone Lee, 31, was sentenced to 30 years in jail with a 10-year parole eligibility after being convicted of two charges of robbery.
Reno Police Department officers responded to a report of a robbery in November 2024. The victim told authorities that he had met Lee the night before at some local casinos. The two men became friendly and decided to go have some breakfast, with Lee offering to drive.
Authorities claim Lee led the victim down an alley before punching him in the face and knocking him to the ground. Lee then reportedly robbed the man of $1,400 in cash and fled.
Two weeks later, a second victim called the Reno Police Department, claiming he had been robbed. Lee and the man were seen conversing on video surveillance inside a local casino before departing together. Lee allegedly attacked the victim and snatched $440 before fleeing.
