A 23-year-old American woman wanted for smuggling migrants into Texas was caught in Juarez and extradited to El Paso.
According to Mexican officials, Michelle G., an American citizen, was apprehended on Rodolfo Ogarrio Street in Ciudad Juarez’s Obrera district.
Mexican authorities stated Michelle G. was wanted by US authorities on human smuggling accusations.
Michelle G. was arrested and brought over to US Marshals at the Stanton border bridge in downtown El Paso.
