A 14-year-old was shot in a drive-by in Eustis on Sunday night, according to authorities.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. in front of a home on Glover Street.
According to Eustis police, someone stepped out of a car, fired multiple rounds, and then departed the area.
Authorities said that someone struck the teen, who was outside, in the leg, causing non-life-threatening injuries.
There have been no arrests, but police say there is no threat to the community as a whole.
Police said the shooting was the result of a rivalry between two gangs, but they did not clarify.
Officials stated the agency will devote more resources to the investigation of the incident because they are not receiving much cooperation.
