Court filings show that a deputy attempted to perform a traffic stop on a car with an expired temporary tag early Friday morning. According to the deputy, Schulte did not come to a halt for over a mile. Schulte appeared to be hiding something at the time but afterward appeared to be punching something.

Deputies inspected Schulte’s car and discovered shattered glass with methamphetamine residue that looked to have come from a glass pipe. Two more pipes, syringes, and 20 cocaine-containing capsules were discovered.

Schulte was informed of the jail’s body scanner on the way there. He then brought out two bags containing more capsules and a crystal material. According to deputies, Schulte possessed 91 tablets positive for cocaine and fentanyl, as well as 5.66 grams of methamphetamine.
