A Vandalia man has been charged with child abuse.
According to court records, Dylan Preston, born in 2006, was charged with two charges of first-degree child molestation and two counts of statutory sodomy/attempted deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years old—aggravated sexual offense.

On Sunday, July 6, deputies from the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office spoke with someone who alleged that Preston had sexually abused two children under the age of 14.
Preston was being held in Audrain County Jail without bond.
He has a docket hearing scheduled for Tuesday morning.
