Police Respond to Robbery at Bank of Princeton

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office reports that on the morning of June 27th, Voorhees Township police officers were dispatched to the Bank of Princeton on Route 73 in response to a robbery report.

Suspect Allegedly Showed Gun, Fled with Cash

According to authorities, a suspect entered the bank, handed a teller a demand letter, took an undisclosed quantity of money, and then escaped. He apparently displayed a pistol in his waistband, but it was neither pointed or discharged during the crime. There were no injuries recorded.

During their investigation, investigators “determined Nguyen was the individual responsible for the bank robbery.”

Arrested in Pennsylvania

The United States Marshals Service arrested him on July 3rd in Horsham, Pennsylvania. He is currently being imprisoned at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility for extradition to New Jersey.

Anyone with more information on the robbery can contact Det. Michael Manning of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit at (856) 365-3246.
