According to the National Weather Service in Phoenix, an Extreme Heat Warning is in force until 8 p.m. MST Thursday, July 10. Here’s your five-day outlook:

Thursday: 113°F and sunny. Southwest winds 5–10 mph, gusts to 25 mph.

Friday: High of 109°F. Lighter winds, mostly sunny skies.

Saturday: 108°F and clear. Winds gusting to 20 mph.

Sunday: Holding steady near 109°F with calm overnight lows in the mid-80s.

Monday: Another scorcher at 109°F with minimal cloud cover.

Phoenix has now experienced numerous consecutive days above 110°F, putting additional strain on electrical grids, cooling systems, and emergency services. Stay up to date with NWS alerts and consider visiting cooling centers if necessary.

This heat pattern is predicted to continue until early next week. More alerts may be issued should severe temperatures persist.
