$2M Bond Set For Man Detained In Connection With Fatal June Shooting

On Saturday, a Hamilton County judge set a $2 million bond for an 18-year-old suspect in a fatal shooting in Evanston in early June.

According to court documents, Ajani Grimes is charged with one count of murder in the shooting death of Laura Schueler, 47.

According to a Cincinnati Police Department statement, Schueler was discovered deceased with a gunshot wound in the 1500 block of Jonathon Avenue on June 7.

The department’s Homicide Unit collaborated with the Fugitive Apprehension Squad in the arrest of Grimes.
