Fairfax County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who assaulted a bus driver in Lorton last week.
Early Tuesday morning, a man attacked a bus driver on his regular route near Gunston Cove Road and Cranford Street.

The suspect, according to police, boarded the bus and assaulted the driver.
Responding cops investigated the area but were unable to locate him.
The person was sent to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have given more information regarding the victim’s injuries.
The purpose for the attack is likewise unknown.
