18-year-old Mclean Resident Indicted With Second-degree Murder Following Herndon Shooting

An 18-year-old has been charged with second-degree murder following a shooting in Virginia last night.

The Herndon Police Department (HPD) has accused Kianmeh Shirinipaziziba, 18, of McLean, Virginia, of a shooting in the 300 block of Elden Street.

City Of Miami Firefighter Detained For Allegedly Exposing Himself To Several Women

Officers stated that they received a call about 9:40 p.m. on Friday reporting unruly conduct. Shirinipaziziba then contacted police, reporting he had encountered the suspect on Elden Street and shot him, according to HPD.

Officers stated that they assisted the victim until he was transported to a local hospital, where he eventually died.

Police took Shirinipaziziba into prison without incident. Shirinipaziziba was charged with second-degree murder after police interviewed witnesses, according to HPD.

Shirinipaziziba is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
