On Friday, August 22, Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) 3rd District officers recovered a stolen vehicle and took into custody the driver in downtown Silver Spring, near Colesville Road and Fenton Street.
3rd District Commander Jason Cokinos confirmed the vehicle’s theft from Washington, D.C., and carried out the arrest securely. If additional verified information becomes available, we will send an update.
