2 Harris County Deputies Taken Into Custody Over The Weekend On Drunk Driving Charges

Two deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were taken into custody on drunk driving charges during separate traffic stops over the weekend.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, HCSO Sgt. Dung Hoang was removed from duty on Sunday after being arrested by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for a misdemeanor DWI charge.

Hoang has now posted bond and is expected back in court on August 29.

HCSO also stated that Ariana Isis Martinez, a newly recruited lateral deputy assigned to basic training at the Sheriff’s Office training academy, was dismissed from duty on Sunday after being arrested by the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office for a misdemeanor DWI.

Martinez has posted bond and is expected back in court on August 29.
