A man has been arrested for allegedly attacking a 28-year-old woman on a Manhattan subway train following an altercation, throwing her off and choking her as they pulled into the station.
According to authorities, the woman and the 37-year-old man had never met before the incident aboard the No. 4 train in Harlem early Friday.

It’s unclear what prompted the disagreement or what they were arguing over, but police say the man pushed the woman off the train when it came to a stop at Lexington Avenue and East 125th Street. Then, he choked her.
He was arrested at the scene and charged with felony obstruction of breathing.
The woman was treated at the scene and is expected to recover.
