A 19-year-old was detained following a deadly shooting in Central Florida.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested the man in relation to a homicide investigation in Lutz, near Tampa.

Deputies recently went to Helena Street in Lutz after a woman called the HCSO Communications Center to report that another man had shot her boyfriend. Police discovered a male with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
The victim, Joshua Benjamin, 34, was taken to the hospital and confirmed dead.
Deputies discovered that an argument between the victim and the suspect evolved into a physical altercation before the shooting.
Deputies arrested 19-year-old Anthony Williams at the scene. Williams was first charged with carrying a concealed firearm and armed trespassing.
Following a consultation with the State Attorney’s Office, Williams was arrested and charged with second-degree murder with a firearm and concealed carry.
Local law enforcement reports that this is an ongoing inquiry.
