Local deputies and the HCSO SWAT team served a court-authorized search warrant at a residence on East Grove Avenue. Following multiple directives, the occupants ultimately left the house and turned themselves in to the authorities.

The individuals were identified and face the following charges:

24-year-old David Green III faces the charge of possession of a firearm while committing a felony. The charges against David Green III include trafficking of cocaine (200-400 grams), possession of cocaine, delivery of cocaine, and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell or deliver. Possession of cannabis with the intent to sell, manufacture, or deliver; resisting an officer without violence; and maintaining a public nuisance structure for drug activity.

35-year-old Kemry Stargell was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, manufacture, or deliver, resisting an officer without violence, and out-of-county warrant PC/VOP grand theft. $5KL/$10K.

33-year-old Melvin Fowler is charged with felony possession of a firearm, felony possession of ammunition, and resisting an officer without violence.

During the search of the residence, deputies discovered a vehicle on the property. One among the items discovered was a Smith & Wesson revolver reported stolen in Hillsborough County. Overall, the following things were recovered:

  • Taurus handgun
  • Smith and Wesson handgun (Reported stolen to HCSO)
  • Beretta handgun
  • Firestorm handgun
  • 277.9 grams of crack cocaine
  • 520.5 grams of marijuana and sativa resin

“Those who bring illegal narcotics and guns into our neighborhoods will be met with the full force of law enforcement,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Thanks to the swift actions of our deputies and teams, these dangerous criminals are off the streets, and we will continue to pursue anyone who threatens the safety of Hillsborough County.”

The inquiry is still active and ongoing, according to local law enforcement.
