High Alert Issued for Tornadoes in Two Major U.S. States on Friday

Earlier this week, it was reported that Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming will have severe winds on Sunday. While this is still predicted, Oklahoma and Texas are currently the top priorities.

As of Friday morning, Oklahoma and Texas were prepared for severe storms.

“Severe weather is possible TODAY across Texas and Oklahoma, with damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes possible,” famous meteorologist Max Velocity stated.

People are encouraged to check the weather forecast on a frequent basis, develop a communication strategy, and avoid going outside.

This Friday is building up to be a tough day for the United States.

In addition to tornado warnings in Oklahoma and Texas, the National Weather Service has issued freeze warnings in Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

“Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” NWS Milwaukee said. “Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.”
