A woman was assaulted and almost raped while walking to a bus stop near Shady Grove Hospital on Friday morning.
Montgomery County Police have arrested Jerrell Lee Fullwood, 25, of Silver Spring.

According to reports, Fullwood was following the victim on Medical Center Drive prior to the assault.
Officers apprehended Fullwood as he attempted to depart the area aboard a bus.
He is now charged with attempted first-degree rape and assault.
According to court documents, Fullwood is already on probation for robbery after pleading guilty in October.
Mary Ayres, a County Circuit Court judge, ordered Fullwood to serve only 18 days of his three-year prison sentence.
Fullwood’s bond hearing is scheduled on October 27, followed by a preliminary hearing on November 21.
