Tyler County experienced severe weather, and KFDM reader Jennifer Chandler shared photographs of hail in her backyard.
There have been reports of trees falling in numerous spots throughout the region.
As of 7 p.m., the Entergy outage map showed about 1,400 customers without power in the company’s service area, with around 400 in Hardin County and roughly 200 in Tyler County.
As of 7:30 p.m., approximately 1,500 subscribers of Jasper-Newton Electric Cooperative were without power.
For certain clients, the estimated restoration time is near midnight.
