A man is in jail after his grandparents told detectives he shot and killed his mother Tuesday night in north Harris County.
Deputies summoned them to a home on Cool Spring Drive, near W Gulf Bank Road, around 9:30 p.m. Investigators claimed they discovered a lady, subsequently identified as 43-year-old Alicia Jacobo, with a gunshot wound.

Emergency services declared her dead at the scene, and police apprehended her 27-year-old son, Raul Jacobo. He was later handcuffed when his grandparents told investigators that he shot their daughter; however, it is unclear what led to her death.
The Harris County Jail booked Raul Jacobo. Authorities have not disclosed the details of his allegations, but they have indicated that they plan to charge him with his mother’s shooting murder.
