The Omaha Police Department has made three arrests following a shooting on Halloween night that left a 17-year-old boy dead.
Shawn Roland, 18, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with criminal accessory and tampering with physical evidence.
Rayquan Bass, 18, was arrested for second-degree murder, using a firearm to conduct a felony, and possessing a defaced firearm, according to an OPD update released Thursday.
Yourhansay Gonzales-Washington, also 18, was detained on charges of possessing a defaced firearm, tampering with physical evidence, and being an accessory to a felony, according to the release.
Bass and Gonzales-Washington were arrested in Council Bluffs on Wednesday before being transported to the Pottawattamie County Jail.
The arrests are in connection with a shooting just before midnight on October 31 near 36th and Polk streets in South Omaha.
Sevyn Bellar-White, 17, was found outside a house party with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Bellar-White was a senior at Millard North.
The OPD said the inquiry is still ongoing.
