The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that Uzbekistan authorities issued an arrest warrant for Bozorov in 2022. He is accused of distributing terrorist propaganda online, calling for jihad, and recruiting people to join the movement.

Details of the Arrest and Immigration History

  • Arrest: Bozorov was arrested by ICE in Kansas on November 9, 2025, while he was operating an 18-wheeler as a commercial truck driver.
  • Illegal Entry and Release: He illegally entered the United States in February 2023. According to the DHS announcement, Bozorov was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol and subsequently released into American communities under the current Biden administration.
  • Work Authorization and CDL: Following his release, the Biden administration granted Bozorov work authorization in January 2024. He was also issued a commercial driver’s license (CDL) by the state of Pennsylvania.

“Not only was Akhror Bozorov—a wanted terrorist—RELEASED into the country by the Biden administration, but he was he was also given a commercial driver’s license by Governor Shapiro’s Pennsylvania,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “This should go without saying, but terrorist illegal aliens should not be operating 18-wheelers on America’s highways.”

McLaughlin blasted the Biden administration.

“Biden and Mayorkas allowed countless terrorists to come into our country. President Trump and Secretary Noem unleashed ICE to target these national security threats.”

Bozorov remains in ICE custody pending further legal action.
