Indiana State Police have announced the successful dismantling of a large drug ring in southeast Indiana.
Eighteen people in Indiana and Ohio have been arrested on charges primarily linked to dealing and possessing methamphetamine.
According to state police, the operation was the result of months of collaboration among different agencies. Many of those taken into custody have already had their first court appearances.
Investigators have charged the following individuals:

- Laicee Houglin, 27, Independence, Ky.
- Daniel Hall III, 52, Patriot, Indiana
- Donald Judd, 48, Aurora, Indiana
- Roxann Boatman, 26, Patriot, Indiana
- Jarrod Courtney, 28, Patriot, Indiana
- Aaliyah Fisk, 22, Patriot, Indiana
- Justin Vansickle, 40, Patriot, Indiana
- Whitney Vansickle, 37, Patriot, Indiana
- Richard Turner, 46, Patriot, Indiana
- Ashlie Gillespie, 22, Patriot, Indiana
- Mark Robinson, 38, Patriot, Indiana
- Elisha Courter, 44, Patriot, Indiana
- Elbea Couch, 58, Patriot, Indiana
- Logan Couch, 22, Patriot, Indiana
- Damien Couch, 25, Patriot, Indiana
- Jayme Johnston, 39, Patriot, Indiana
“This case represents months of cooperative work among state and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies, all committed to disrupting drug trafficking and criminal activity in southeastern Indiana, making a significant impact on the safety of our communities. The Indiana State Police will continue to work with local agencies and will be proactive in pursuing those who are possessing and distributing illegal drugs in our communities,” said Sgt.
