The alert includes Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties in Ohio, as well as Erie and Crawford counties in northwest Pennsylvania. Forecasters warn that snow accumulations may surpass 8 inches, with localized amounts exceeding one foot in persistent snow bands. Winds gusting to 45 mph may potentially cause blowing snow, downed tree limbs, and localized power outages.
