Three Columbus police officers were hospitalized Saturday morning after two police cruisers collided.
According to the crash report, two Columbus Division of Police (CPD) vehicles collided at the intersection of S. Hague Avenue and Sullivant Avenue shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, both cruisers were significantly damaged, and three policemen were evacuated to neighboring hospitals.

One cop was suspected of serious injury, while the other two were suspected of lesser injuries; however, all three were in stable condition. The study stated that neither driver was distracted.
Police analyzed camera evidence from a neighboring gas station and decided that cruiser 195, which contained one officer, failed to yield at the signal. It then crashed with the cruiser 81, which was transporting two officers.
According to the crash report, both vehicles spun out after colliding, with cruiser 195 striking a cinderblock wall and cruiser 81 passing through a cinderblock wall and a road sign. The streets were briefly stopped, and both automobiles were hauled from the scene. The intersection reopened at 3:15 a.m.
All three cops wore their seatbelts.
