There were several changes to the forecast overnight and Saturday morning. Due to a period of dry air moving in, snowfall rates have decreased. Snow accumulations across the region will be mostly in the 4-8 inch range, with many regions receiving less than 4 inches by Saturday morning.
Snow is reorganizing late tonight. However, the snow will most likely be light, so any extra accumulations will be minimal, possibly up to an inch.
The impacts and hazards remain the same. Snow-covered roads, slippery pathways, and snow-covered residential areas will be a concern until early Saturday morning. Be aware that some icy areas may occur overnight.
Any snow? Saturday morning will most likely bring flakes and isolated light snow showers. No additional snow accumulations, mixed precipitation, or rain are expected.
WHAT’S NEXT?

Light snow will continue throughout early Saturday morning, but any additional snowfall will be limited to one inch at most. Snow-covered walkways, roads, and residential areas will be a worry until Saturday morning.
Also, be aware of any icy patches in your region. By late Saturday morning, the snow will have stopped. The sky will gradually clear, but the frigid air will stay. Temperatures in the region will continue around or below freezing until Saturday night. Sunday will begin with a sunny sky and temperatures a little higher than freezing.
