Four people are in custody in Blair County after a months-long state police probe into a series of fatal drug overdoses earlier this year.
Pennsylvania State Police charged Calil Francois-Moon, Matthew Rhoades, Dalayne Moyer, and Kayla Smith earlier this week with three overdose deaths in February.
Police discovered Zane Albright, 25, deceased at a Snyder Township residence on February 19. That same month, Madison Kramer, 24, and Charissa Wilson, 33, were discovered dead in different Tyrone Borough residences.
According to prosecution affidavits, the postmortem results revealed that all three individuals died from numerous drug overdoses, including fentanyl and methamphetamine.
According to investigators, Rhoades, Moyer, and Smith reportedly helped Francois-Moon distribute the chemicals that resulted in the deadly overdoses. According to online court records, all four suspects face several accusations, including felony drug supply resulting in death and related felonies.
All four people are currently being incarcerated at the Blair County Prison. The cases continue under investigation.
