Texas Woman Apprehended At Gym For Allegedly Throwing Weight At Another Woman She Recognized As Being Involved With Her Boyfriend

A woman was taken into custody after allegedly assaulting another individual at a local gym, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 4. The incident occurred on January 7, 2026, at the 24 Hour Fitness on Lake Plaza Drive.

Deputies responded at the scene and determined that the suspect, identified as Aralyn Martinez, had assaulted the complainant after recognizing her as someone linked with her boyfriend. Martinez allegedly hurled a weighted plate at the complainant’s head during the confrontation in an attempt to injure him.

“Aralyn Martinez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault. Her bond was set at $1,000.00 out of the 488th District Court,” stated Constable Mark Herman.
