A woman was shot and killed while riding in a car Sunday night in Chicago’s Park Manor neighborhood.
Around 11 p.m., the 31-year-old was a passenger in the vehicle when someone on the street began shooting at it in the 6700 block of South Langley Avenue.

The woman was shot in the head and transported to the University of Chicago Hospital, where she later died. As of Monday morning, the Cook County medical examiner’s office has yet to identify her.
Police stated that no arrests had been made.
Area One detectives are conducting an investigation.
