Former NBA star Delonte West was recently arrested in Virginia for the second time in two months.
On December 21, a victim stated that Delonte West, 42, assaulted and robbed him on the 5900 block of Richmond Highway in Belle Haven.
The former NBA star was found nearby and arrested.
According to TMZ, the total amount taken from the victim was $23.
West was charged with robbery and violence and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was released on $1,000 bond.
November arrest
In November, West was arrested “for his safety” after showing signs of drinking at a northern Virginia intersection.
He was sent to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and then released.
West graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt and went on to Saint Joseph’s University.
Throughout his NBA career, he played for the Boston Celtics, Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Dallas Mavericks, and he has battled substance usage for several years.
