Man Sentenced To 15 Years In Prison For Trafficking Cocaine And Fentanyl In Northern Virginia

A judge sentenced a 31-year-old man to 15 years in prison for trafficking cocaine and fentanyl in Northern Virginia.

According to court documents, from November 2022 to May 2025, law enforcement officials purchased fentanyl and cocaine from D’Quinta Arastoo Hill in Lorton and Fredericksburg, respectively.

On February 1, 2023, officers searched Hill’s home in Lorton and found two guns, 55 fentanyl pills, and cocaine. Months later, on May 28, authorities searched Hill’s second home in Fredericksburg and discovered another gun.

Officials revealed that they obtained one of the guns from an Alexandria woman through straw purchases.

In 2018, authorities convicted Hill of assault and battery, and in 2022, they found him guilty of possession of a controlled drug. Hill was prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition as a result of his convictions.

According to the US Attorney’s Office, Hill delivered fentanyl to Boston resident Gordon Dupree Jackson. Jackson was sentenced to fifteen years in jail in July 2025.

“D’Quinta Hill flooded our communities with fentanyl – one of the most lethal drugs confronting our nation – and cocaine, placing countless lives at risk,” said Lindsey Halligan, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. “Hill distributed more than 450 grams of fentanyl for redistribution, including pressed pills designed to resemble legitimate medication, while illegally possessing firearms to protect his drug trafficking operation. Every two milligrams of fentanyl he put into circulation represented a potential overdose, loss of life, and another grieving family. Our office remains committed to disrupting drug distribution networks and preventing those who profit from poisoning our communities.”
