An illegal immigrant from Guyana faces more than five years in federal prison after pleading guilty to illegal reentry in federal court.
Sean Allicock, a 53-year-old Guyana native who was illegally residing in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 65 months in prison by United States District Judge Karoline Mehalchick yesterday for illegally reentering the country after previously being removed, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District.
According to United States Attorney Brian D. Miller, Allicock was indicted by a federal grand jury on June 18, 2025, for theft by unlawful taking and other offenses in Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
Allicock was previously found guilty of unauthorized reentry in 2007. Allicock has previously been deported from the United States by a court order in 1998 and 2015. Allicock pleaded guilty to illegal reentry before being sentenced.
Allicock’s state charges appear to have been withdrawn, most likely as part of a plea deal in the federal case. When his prison sentence expires, he will face deportation.
