The owner of a South Carolina children’s boutique faced charges in five other counties Richland County to that list this week.

According to authorities, 30-year-old Pamela Brooke Schronce was booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on Thursday for obtaining property under false pretenses.

She appeared for a court hearing on Thursday and received a $2,125 bond. Schronce was held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center until Friday, when she was picked up and lodged at the Greenwood County Detention Center with similar allegations.

A customer of Schronce’s firm, Thomas & Turner Boutique, submitted a report in December 2025, according to RCSD data.

The customer claimed to have received four orders from the boutique in October and November 2025, one of which was marked as “ready to ship”. By December 30, the client reported that they had not received them and that the “read to ship” order had not been sent. Over the course of two months, the orders totaled slightly more than $202.

According to documents, Schronce allegedly stopped communicating with the customer around December 11 or 12, 2025. The customer stated that they were promised an update via email, but no such information was received.

The complaint came during an inquiry into Schronce in Anderson County, and the client was informed they needed to submit a complaint in the county where they lived, Richland County.

Schronce has been detained nine times since January 1, according to Fox Carolina.

These arrests come after several victims reported to law enforcement that they purchased items from Schronce but never received them. Customers said they were promised refunds and/or store credit but never received them.

In addition to his arrest in Greenwood County on Friday, Schronce has been incarcerated in Anderson, Spartanburg, Greenville, Pickens, and Abbeville counties.

This is a developing story.
