Plano police are asking the public for assistance in locating a Dallas woman with schizophrenia and her two young daughters, including a 3-month-old infant, who vanished Sunday evening after leaving a North Dallas movie theater.
Alexcia Pruitt, 30, was last seen around 8 p.m. on February 22, 2026, leaving the Cinemark theater on Dallas Parkway with her 5-year-old daughter and infant. Shortly after, someone spotted the three walking near a Jack in the Box on Windhaven Parkway before heading north on the service road. Pruitt does not have a cell phone with her.
The Plano Police Department has classified Pruitt’s case as an endangered missing person investigation, citing his schizophrenia diagnosis. Police say she is up to date on her meds, but the lack of a phone and the presence of two young children, one of whom is only three months old, have raised concerns about their safety.
Pruitt is described as a woman with long, straight black hair. She was last spotted wearing a black jacket, a white shirt, and denim shorts while carrying a black backpack-style diaper bag. She was most likely carrying the infant at the time.
The 5-year-old was last spotted wearing a white fuzzy jacket with white and purple jeans. The infant wore a onesie and was wrapped in a pink blanket.
The circumstances—a mother without a phone, an infant in her arms, and a small toddler at her side, walking down a busy North Dallas service road on a February night — have made this an especially urgent search. On Sunday evening, temperatures in the Plano-Dallas area reached the mid-40s.
Anyone who sees Pruitt or her daughters, or knows where they are, should call 9-1-1 immediately and reference Plano Police incident #26-36197.
