Two people are dead and two more injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Indiana County on Thursday.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. in West Wheatfield Township.
A Ford Ranger was driving down Bowser Road when police say it failed to stop at a stop sign before crossing State Route 22.
The Ranger was then hit by a garbage truck driving eastbound on Route 22, followed by a tractor-trailer.
Police said two people were slain inside the Ranger. They have not been identified.
According to authorities, the drivers of the garbage truck and tractor-trailer were sent to surrounding hospitals. Their status was not immediately available.
At 3:30 p.m., Route 22 was still closed. Drivers are encouraged to find other routes.
