Immigration and Customs Enforcement Boston has reported the arrest of a fifth murder suspect in the past month.
ERO Boston arrested Altieris Chaves Paiva on Sunday in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
Brazilian authorities are seeking Paiva after Interpol issued a Red Notice for homicide.
In the last month, ERO Boston has apprehended five criminal aliens on Interpol Red Notices or foreign fugitives wanted for murder/homicide in their native countries.
Danny Granados Garcia was arrested in Waterbury, Connecticut. He was a wanted fugitive in El Salvador, with an arrest warrant out for aggravated homicide and membership in a terrorist organization.
Kele Christian Alves-Pereira was arrested in Everett, Massachusetts. Brazil’s authorities issued a warrant for Alves-Periera for murder, and INTERPOL issued a red notice for her arrest.
Magno Jose Dos Santos was arrested in Worcester, Massachusetts. Authorities in Brazil issued a warrant for Dos Santos on allegations of killing and attempted crime.
Bryan Rafael Gomez was arrested in Worcester, Massachusetts. Gomez was wanted by Dominican authorities after being named in an Interpol Red Notice for homicide.
