8 Drug Traffickers Apprehended In Northwest Arkansas Receive Combined Sentence Of Over 100 Years In Prison

Eight drug traffickers who were apprehended in Northwest Arkansas were sentenced over the last few weeks to sentences combining more than 100 years, according to court documents.

According to a news release from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Arkansas, all eight defendants have been sentenced for their participation in the distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine throughout Benton and Washington counties.

Vegas Trafficker Sentenced To 18 Years After Anaheim Motel Hell

Federal grand juries indicted all eight people on several counts for their roles in large-scale drug trafficking, according to the announcement.

The eight defendants were given the following sentences:

Timothy Conklin, 38, of Springdale, was sentenced on April 23 to more than 15 years in federal prison and five years of supervised release for one count of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute. In April 2025, he was charged with a number of drug offenses in and around Fayetteville.

Christopher Park, 43, of Rogers, was sentenced on April 23 to more than 15 years in federal prison and five years on supervised release for one count of methamphetamine distribution. In April 2025, he was charged with a number of drug offenses in and around Fayetteville.

On April 20, Russell Shipman, 45, of Fayetteville, was sentenced to more than 14 years in federal prison and five years of supervised release on one count of conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine. In April 2025, he was charged with a number of drug offenses in and around Fayetteville.

Javier Colon-Rivera, 45, of Fayetteville, was sentenced on April 20 to 14 years in federal prison and three years on supervised release for fentanyl distribution. He was first indicted in April 2025 for a number of drug-related crimes perpetrated in and around Lincoln and Fayetteville.

On April 17, Chasity Lewis-Adams, 49, of Springdale, was sentenced to more than 13 years in federal prison and eight years of supervised release for one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. She was charged in February 2025 with various narcotics offenses in and around Fayetteville.

On April 16, Luis Marquez-Garcia, 38, of Davenport, Florida, was sentenced to more than 13 years in federal prison and four years of supervised release for one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. In April 2025, he was charged with a number of drug-related offenses in and around Lincoln and Fayetteville.

Danny Trent Barrows, 45, of Fayetteville, was sentenced on April 16 to more than 13 years in federal prison and five years of supervised release for one count of fentanyl possession with intent to distribute. Barrows was charged in August 2025 with a number of drug-related crimes perpetrated in and around Winslow, Fayetteville, and Goshen.

On April 20, Marquesha Young, 34, of El Dorado, was sentenced to ten years in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release on one count of conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine. She was charged in November 2025 with drug-related crimes perpetrated in and around Fayetteville.

“Fentanyl and methamphetamine continue to destroy lives across Arkansas,” U.S. Attorney Kimberly D. Harris stated. “These investigations are excellent examples of combined federal and state law enforcement partners working together to apprehend drug traffickers targeting Northwest Arkansas communities.”

According to the statement, the Fourth Judicial District Drug Taskforce, the Fayetteville Police Department, the Rogers Narcotics Unit, the Lincoln Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) all investigated the cases.
