Wanted Fugitive Arrested After McDonald’s Meltdown in Spring

Harris County deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to a disturbance call at the McDonald’s on Cypresswood Drive in Spring, where they came across Enrique Garcia. When they made contact, they learned Garcia had open warrants, which led to his arrest at the location and subsequent booking into the Harris County jail.

According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Facebook page, deputies who arrived at the scene on Tuesday identified Garcia and discovered he had an open felony warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle from Jefferson County, as well as three outstanding Harris County traffic warrants. The post also labeled Garcia as a convicted felon and stated that no bond or court date had been set at the time of the report.

Where the arrest happened

The disturbance was reported at the McDonald’s at 27515 Cypresswood Drive in Spring, according to MapQuest. The restaurant is located on Cypresswood Drive, near Sciacca Road, a major commercial area with consistent traffic.

Charges and legal context

The constable’s office cited the Jefferson County warrant for unlawful use of a motor vehicle, which is classified as a state-jail felony per Texas law. Unauthorized use of a vehicle (Tex. Penal Code §31.07) is penalized by 180 days to two years in a state correctional facility, along with potential fines. The particular penalties vary depending on how prosecutors choose to file and pursue the case.

What happens next

Garcia was put into the Harris County Jail, according to the constable’s office, and bond and court information have yet to be determined. Residents were advised to the agency’s Facebook page, Instagram, and the “C4 NOW” mobile app for the latest updates. Once the application is processed, court records will reflect formal filings and an arraignment date.
