A Las Vegas resident won a $609,345 jackpot on a Whitney Houston-themed slot machine at Palms Casino Resort on Sunday night.
It is the second large jackpot on those machines at the Palms, following a $599,015 payout on July 29, 2025.

On Sunday, Feb. 15, the winner scored the Platinum Bonus Jackpot at 11 p.m. with a $20 bet. The casino did not disclose the winner’s name.
“The lucky guest placed a final $20 bet before the end of the night and walked away with a life-changing payout,” according to a Palms press release. Information from slot machine maker IGT indicates the singer’s hit songs — “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” “So Emotional” and “How Will I Know” — are part of the experience for slot players.
The July winner won with a $5 bet.
