According to investigators, Miller stole $2 million in merchandise from retailers in Tucson and Phoenix. According to the investigation, an East Coast resident was receiving packages from Miller, and in one case, Miller received $450,000 from that individual.

According to the indictment, Miller took thousands of dollars in merchandise from several Walmart, Target, and Fry’s Food Store stores. Miller delivered stolen body and health care products to another man, receiving payments ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars.

According to the indictment, Miller stole from many separate stores on the same days.

Authorities from the Oro Valley Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, and the United States Postal Service collaborated to identify Miller as the offender.

Miller pleaded guilty last month to two counts of fraudulent schemes and one count of illicit enterprise. He will be required to serve a five-year probation period after being released from prison.

Miller must also repay $75,000 to the victims and return any stolen things.

“We will not tolerate organized retail theft enterprises that steal from our businesses and communities,” Mayes shared in a statement. “My office will continue working with our law enforcement partners to identify, prosecute, and hold accountable those who profit from this kind of criminal activity.”
