The National Weather Service has issued a watch for four major U.S. states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Missouri.
So far on Tuesday, five tornado watches have been issued.
“With one Tornado Watch already issued today (Texas) and more likely to come, NOW is the time to think about what to do if a Tornado Warning is issued for your area. You know to take shelter immediately if your area receives a Tornado Warning. But what makes a good shelter? Take the time now to figure out your options and make sure you’re Weather-Ready,” the NWS warned.
