A police chase that stretched across multiple counties ended with three apprehensions in Aurora Wednesday.
According to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, Bellwood police began pursuing a car suspected of being involved in a shooting on Interstate 88.

Authorities claim the chase continued past Oak Brook at speeds above 100 mph. During the pursuit, investigators claim two loaded firearms were thrown from the car and later discovered.
The vehicle eventually exited at Orchard Road in Aurora and drove into a home backyard, where two individuals fled the vehicle.
A short time later, police nabbed the driver, Cameron McClellan, 27, of Chicago.
Officers later found Troy Hughes, 23, of Bellwood, in the basement of an adjacent home, as well as Dante Williams, 23, of Chicago, inside a work van.
All three individuals face several charges.
