Phoenix man taken into custody for trying to lure 14-year-old online

A Phoenix man has been taken into custody for luring a 14-year-old online, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.

Aaron Salazar, 55, of Phoenix, first communicated with the 14-year-old on social media before switching to text messages, according to YCSO.

Salazar is a registered sex offender who is currently on probation in Maricopa County.

Salazar was arrested in Phoenix and taken to the Yavapai County Jail in Prescott, where he was charged with luring a minor for sexual exploitation.
