Police are investigating a shooting in Jefferson Park, where a man was injured while sitting in his car overnight.
The victim told Chicago police he was inside a BMW in the 4900 block of West Gunnison when someone approached and fired rounds at him around 1:15 a.m., wounding him in the hand. He was transported to Community First Hospital for treatment. Officers found three bullet casings at the location.
