A suspect has been charged with the death of a pregnant woman who went missing about a week ago.
Officials said Kevin Faux, 24, has been charged with murder.

On Thursday, police spent several hours investigating near Chimney Rock Park in southwest Houston after the body of 23-year-old Ashanti Allen was discovered.
Allen was last seen on Friday, leaving her residence near McNee Road and Main Street.
Allen was eight months pregnant and undergoing a high-risk pregnancy when she went missing, according to investigators.
According to Houston police, detectives identified Faux as a suspect in Allen’s death. Investigators discovered that Faux is the father of Allen’s unborn child.
Officials stated that Faux is not currently in jail.
