Authorities apprehended two suspects for a road rage shooting that left a man dead after he was shot in the head in his front yard.
Rory Horowitz and Ellyssa Salazar were detained Wednesday at an El Paso home in connection with Roberto Carlos Pineda Arriaza’s death. The 21-year-old guy died on Tuesday evening, three days after being caught in the crossfire of a road rage shooting.

The shooting occurred Saturday evening in southwest Albuquerque. Arriaza was showing a buddy his new motorcycle when two unconnected automobiles, a BMW and a Mitsubishi, drew up in a fit of road rage and opened fire on each other, shooting Arriaza in the head.
Investigators determined that Salazar owned the Mitsubishi from which Horowitz allegedly opened fire. They cooperated with the United States Marshals Service and Texas law enforcement to track them down in El Paso.
Horowitz is expected to face an open murder charge, as well as seven counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count each of firing at or from a motor vehicle and aggravated battery causing serious bodily harm.
Salazar faces allegations for tampering with evidence and sheltering a fugitive.
Meanwhile, Albuquerque police apprehended a person associated with the BMW. The defendant was not identified by the BCSO, however they were charged with aggravated evading a law enforcement officer and careless driving. However, they were unable to discover any proof of the suspect firing any rounds.
