A woman who was reported missing in Houston last summer has been found dead, according to her family.
Officials verified this week that the remains discovered earlier this year are those of Angela Marisol Diaz.

Angela was 22 years old when she disappeared.
Angela’s relatives reported that her boyfriend last saw her at a motel along the I-45 Gulf Freeway around 11:30 p.m. on July 1. The family claimed that her boyfriend had told them she was going to meet a man at the location.
Angela’s relatives, however, stated that her phone was last seen somewhere else. Instead, around 4 a.m. the next day, Angela’s phone displayed her location near a forested area behind a gym on Interstate 10.
