Ridgeline now has a 6-1 record and will take the field next when they take on Logan on September 29th. Ridgeline dominated running the ball and the Mountain Crest Mustangs had no answer. As Junior Running Back Jackson Lindsay had 35 carries that resulted in 218 yards and 1 touchdown. “I just knew I had to go out there and do my job and in the first half the O-line was doing amazing and come second half MC made some changes to try and stop the run game, but they just couldn’t stop my big dawgs up front plowing the way for me to move the rock” said Lindsay. Freshman Krew Jones also had 2 touchdowns despite only rushing for 6 yards. Standout Wide Receiver Graham Livingston also scored a touchdown. Ridgeline defense allowed 0 points in the first quarter, despite Ridgeline turning it over 2 times that quarter. With JT White getting injured it seemed like Ridgeline’s running game was not going to be as successful. But Lindsay went out and did his job. Lindsay told me, “ With JT getting injured I knew I had to step up. And I was ready. I have been training with these guys all summer. So we all knew we could get the job done.” Ridgeline is, “Ready to prove em wrong” in the playoffs this year, freshman Krew Jones said. They have been remembering all the doubters and the haters and everyone who said they were bad.
